Vechs is back at Minecraft again, and he has brought me, StormyLaura, along for the ride. We are playing Waking Up, in 1.12, with the drop tables from his Super Hostile Online map. We are playing on hard difficulty. The logic for that was, you know, we thought maybe all the gear that would drop would make the map too easy. Heh. Heh heh. Too easy. Riiiiight. There are many glorious deaths. There are creepers galore. There are feesh that our Vetchus cannot leave alone. Now, I will admit. Playing a Super Hostile map with Vechs himself is a little scary. It’s like bungee jumping. You know you’re going to land and be all like “THAT WAS AWESOME!!” but there’s a little flutter of fear. Your heart beats a little faster. You know that, by playing Waking Up with Vechs, you are taking your virtual life firmly in your hands. Also, for those who are wondering (and I know you guys are, as I would be too!) Vechs is hard at work making Super Hostile: Iceloation. This will be an ice-themed single player Super Hostile map. He has also mentioned maybe updating his maps to be playable with modern Minecraft, now that he has seen, firsthand, how his old maps don’t work so well in the new Minecraft versions. In the more immediate future, stay tuned for more fun (and deaths!) in Super Hostile: Waking Up, Revisited. It’s going to be one heck of a wild ride, my friends!
